Intensity

Intensity

The intensity of a fragrance refers to its concentration of aromatic compounds. It determines the power, longevity, and depth of the fragrance on your skin. It's one of the key factors in choosing a perfume that truly reflects you.

Concentration: A Matter of Character

At Éternelle Fragrances, we select niche fragrances that utilize every concentration level with precision and uniqueness. Because an intense fragrance isn't necessarily better—it's simply different.

Levels of Intensity

  • Eau de Cologne (EDC) — 2 to 5% concentration. Fresh, light, ephemeral. Perfect for a discreet and invigorating olfactory touch.
  • Eau de Toilette (EDT) — 5 to 15% concentration. Balanced and versatile. The everyday standard, between lightness and presence.
  • Eau de Parfum (EDP) — 15 to 20% concentration. Richer, longer-lasting. It settles on the skin and evolves with you throughout the day.
  • Extrait de Parfum — 20 to 40% concentration. The quintessence of perfume. Intense, sensual, unforgettable. A single touch is enough.

Which Intensity Suits You?

There's no absolute rule. The ideal intensity depends on your skin, your lifestyle, and the emotion you wish to convey. Our Éternelle Fragrances advisors are here to guide you to the concentration that best suits you.
